MY SISTER Lifestyle Brand Goes Brick-and-Mortar With New Uptown Retail and Office Space
MINNEAPOLIS, MN, May 25, 2016 – Twin Cities B-Corporation MY SISTER is expanding its successful lifestyle brand with its first brick-and-mortar location. The store, which will occupy the first floor of a the newly-renovated, historic house located at 1616 W. Lake Street in Uptown, will also share the space with the company’s offices. My Sister will sell their full line of clothing and accessories in store, which are already available online.
MY SISTER, which fights sex trafficking and exploitation through the sale of clothing and accessories, will officially open their new retail space in mid-July – just in time to commemorate the United Nation’s World Day Against Trafficking on July 30th.
“We are excited about the opportunity to connect with customers face-to-face and raise awareness about sex trafficking here in Minnesota,” said CEO Mandy Multerer. “Our retail space will also allow us to reach people through collaboration. We are looking forward to hosting and participating in pop-up shops in our new neighborhood this summer and fall.
In their first year of business, MY SISTER contributed nearly $40,000 to help survivors through their local and international partner agencies, MN Girls Are Not For Sale and Maiti Nepal, who work helps survivors recover and thrive.
