MY SISTER believes that through love, education and empowerment, we can all be a part of changing the future of the world and saving the lives of those trapped in modern day slavery. Every step of the way, we are dedicated to preventing exploitation and empowering women, while providing high-quality products, and allowing you to make a difference.

MY SISTER is a Benefit Corporation

We provide funding for non-profits fighting sex trafficking, and we are also employing survivors and raising awareness throughout the nation and overseas. Our Benefit Corporation certification assures you that your purchases are directly benefiting the non-profits and survivors that are a part of those organizations. MY SISTER and our partners are dedicated to this cause and won't rest until this global crime ends.

    What We Stand For

Love. Freedom. Empowerment. Hope. Compassion. Education.

At the MY SISTER offices, internships give survivors the business skills necessary to gain employment outside of the forced sex trade. Many times, victims of trafficking have been subject to stigmas associated with their backgrounds and don't have a complete education or business skills, which limits their options to pursue a career. We offer a healthy, empowering environment where their true passions and personalities are celebrated, so they can flourish in their day-to-day lives.

Overseas, children and women are often trafficked as a result of poverty and lack of employment opportunities. To create a sustainable living for women who are vulnerable or have been victims of trafficking, MY SISTER works with and purchases products from non-profits that give survivors the skills, tools and materials to create beautiful products you can treasure.

We monitor our screen printers, fulfillment representatives, non-profit partners, and product suppliers to ensure their teams and employees are treated well, with respect and safety being most important. Our team has personally visited and works very closely with these organizations to create healthy and cohesive partnerships.

Our suppliers are an extension of MY SISTER. On an annual basis, we require our direct service providers and suppliers to certify that their labor practices and working environments, along with materials, comply with all applicable laws in the countries they do business and are working to prevent slavery and human trafficking throughout their supply chain.

Our apparel suppliers are 100% sweatshop free and are in accordance with the Fair Labor Association Workplace Code of Conduct, with many of the shirts made in the U.S.A.  Many of the factories where the apparel is manufactured are certified by Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP), an independent non-profit team of global social compliance experts.

At the MY SISTER office, we go paper-free as much as possible, recycle, reuse, and print using recycled materials, because we love the environment. Our team has sustainability in mind throughout every step of our practices and product development.

Our primary apparel supplier operates in a solar-powered, paper-free warehouse and strives for highly eco-conscious manufacturing. We print using water-based inks, which are eco-friendly and PVC and VOC free, offering environmental and practical advantages over traditional plastisol inks currently being used in high volume textile shops. The socially responsible screen printer we have teamed up with uses eco-conscious cleaners and is working to reduce water consumption.

    Raising Awareness + Community Support

As personal advocates, our team thrives on raising awareness and rallying people together to fight sex trafficking. We know that it may not be a topic everyone knows about, and we want to change that in an easy and empowering way. By educating with easy-to-understand statistics, helping women and survivors tell their stories, educating you on ways to make a difference in your community and urging everyone to think about their part in ending trafficking, our team and advocates will help restore the lives of many children and women. We are also getting involved in different cities and communities throughout the nation to support organizations and events to raise national awareness. We hope to see you in your city soon!
